Scholarship 2014 GKS (Global Korea Scholarship) - AKS (Academy of Korean Studies) Graduate Recruitment

The Global Korea Scholarship(GKS) is a scholarship program supported by the Korean government and implemented by the National Institute for International Education(NIIED), an organization directly responsible to the Ministry of Education. It aims to promote international exchange in education as well as mutual friendship amongst participating countries.

This year the Graduate School of Korean Studies in the Academy of Korean Studies was selected as one of the designated Korean universities which applicants can choose to study for their master's or doctoral degree programs with the support of GKS.

1. Programs Offered and Duration of Scholarship
- Master's Degree: 1 year of Korean language course(2014. 9. 1. ~ 2015. 8. 31.) + 2 years of degree program (2015. 9. 1. ~ 2017. 8. 31.)
- Doctoral Degree: 1 year of Korean language course(2014. 9. 1. ~ 2015. 8. 31.) + 3 years of degree program (2015. 9. 1. ~ 2018. 8. 31.)

2. Scholarship Details: Monthly allowance of KRW900,000 per month, a round-trip airfare, etc.
