Free-Position Part-Time Lecturer Position in Korean Language

at Department of East Asian Languages and Cultures Georgetown University in USA

The Department of East Asian Languages and Cultures at Georgetown University invites applications for one one-year part-time Lecturer position in Korean language, starting August 2017. This position is renewable and non-tenure-track. The candidate will be expected to teach one section of intensive basic/intermediate level of Korean (6 credits a semester), conduct tests and examinations as required, lead Korean language tables, and function well as a team player within the Korean program. Candidates must have a graduate degree in Korean language pedagogy/applied linguistics or closely related field, and native or near native proficiency in Korean and English. Experience teaching college-level Korean in North America is required. Two letters of recommendation should be sent to the same address by the recommenders. The deadline for applications is May 5th, 2017.
