Dear Leonid:

One of the books that talk about regionally based
discriminations in premodern Korea is Yi Jung-hwan's
T'aegriji written in early 18th century. The book is
available in English ("A study and translation of
T`aengniji" by Inshil Choe Yoon, 1996).
