The discussion seems to lead to a conclusion that Koreans in the traditional 
society only used metal chopsticks.  But as far as I know, in the old days, 
Buddhist monks used wooden chopsticks along with wooden spoons and wooden 
bowls.  I think wooden utensiles are still widely used in the temple.  May 
somebody correct me if I am wrong.  Of course, those utensils are not 
disposable.
