It is now October and in the coming days three new volumes of Korean literature translated by me with
others are due to emerge fully into the light of day. The fact that the name of Kim Young-Moo accompanies
mine as translator in each of the 3 only shows how long it takes to get translations from Korean published
(one of these volumes was ready for publication some 12 years ago!)

1. Ten Thousand Lives. Poems by Ko Un. Green Integer Press, Los Angeles ( http://www.greeninteger.com/ )
(this contains some 180 poems from the first 10 volumes of Maninbo, with a Preface by Robert Hass)
2. Little Pilgrim. By Ko Un. Parallax Press, Berkeley. ( http://www.parallax.org/ )
(this is a somewhat abbreviated / edited version of his Buddhist novel Hwaom-gyeong)
3. The Depths of a Clam. Poems by Kim Kwang-kyu. White Pine, Buffalo, NY ( http://www.whitepine.org/ )
(a selection from all of the poet's published volumes)

At present none of these publishers' home pages include the works, as is quite common with smaller presses,
at least, but their home pages do indicate various ways of making contact to express interest)
