Hello, I am new to the list,
I work at Mar del Plata National University, Argentina, and I am a researcher on Korea.
Relating to old books on Korea, I see that most of those online are written in English.-

There is a very interesting book, which is not online, by an Italian Naval officer Carlo Rossetti: "La Corea e i Coreani agli inizi del '900", Korea and the Koreans at the beginning of 1900, written in Italian, in 1903/4, now translated only in French : "La Coree et les Coreens" (2002) . It is a 477 pages book, extremely interesting covering all aspects of Korean life at the moment, history, economics, court affairs, clothes, names, hats, sea ports,Kisaeng, Japanese advance and Chinese reduction of influence, etc. etc. Amazing and wonderful Photographs of everyday life in Korea at the beginning of the XXth. century-
I am actually doing a research on Rossetti.

There are also many French, Holland, German and Russian books and sources on Korea , unfortunately not online, at least not that I know of.
