[KS] announcement for members of the Committee on Korean Studies (CKS)

Dear members of the Committee on Korean Studies (CKS)-AAS,

If you plan to attend the 2010 Association for Asian Studies meeting 
in Philadelphia to be held in late March (from 25 to 28), you are 
welcome to the reception at the University of Pennsylvania Museum on 
Saturday, March 27th at 5:00 p.m. This will be honoring two scholars 
from Univ. of Penn. who have made outstanding contributions to the 
study of Korea: Hilary Conroy and Cameron (Cappy) Hurst.  Because the 
reception conflicts with the late afternoon panels on that day, the 
AAS cannot list it in the Annual Meeting Program.  There are free 
shuttle buses provided from the Marriott Hotel to the Museum.
