Dear list members,

My best regards,

Call for Papers
Korea 2013 – Politics, Economy and Society

The editors of Korea – Politics, Economy and Society, published annually since 2007 by Brill (Leiden/Boston), are now calling for papers for the 2013 edition of the yearbook (Volume 7). The Korea: Politics, Economy and Society series is the source for up-to-date concise information on what is happening on the Korean peninsula. It features refereed articles on political, economic and social aspects of both South and North Korea, while its survey articles provide concise overviews of politics, the economy, and the foreign relations of both Koreas, as well as inter-Korean relations. The editors are now calling for proposals for papers for the refereed part of the yearbook. The editors are particularly interested in papers dealing with North Korea and inter-Korean affairs and papers analysing Korean affairs from a comparative perspective. Papers on other topics falling within the scope of Korea – Politics, Economy and Society are also very welcome. Interested scholars and graduate students should send proposals of no less than 500 words to Professor Patrick Koellner (koellner at giga-hamburg.de) by 20 October 2012. The editors will decide in early November which proposals for papers should be developed into manuscripts (10,000 words maximum) to be submitted by 28 February 2013. The editors guarantee a speedy review of manuscripts. Korea 2013 – Politics, Economy and Society is due to be published in September 2013. For further information on the Korea: Politics, Economy and Society series see www.brill.nl/koyb.
