As announced before, the Korean Collections Consortium of North America
sponsored a meeting with Korean databases vendors during AAS last
month. As a result, <b>Dong Bang Media </b>and<b> Nuri Media</b>,
two of the largest scholarly database vendors in Korea, <b>are
offering</b> <b>free trials for all their databases</b> for a limited
time. Any <b>librarians, scholars, or individuals interested in
Korean resources can apply with no obligation to buy. </b>(If
this sounds like a sales pitch, please know that I or my institution gets
absolutely no special benefits from this, other than free trial like the
rest of you... Since I organized the meeting with the vendors, I
was asked to make the announcement. I admit that I <i>am</i>
excited about it because I think it is a wonderful offer! I hope
many of you will sign up...). Please feel free to forward
this message to anyone who might be interested in this offer.
