Illinois College of Law will host a half-day symposium entitled
<EM>Korean</EM> <EM>Legal Reforms: Achievements, Problems and Prospects, </EM>to
be held October 9 in Champaign, Illinois. The meeting will consider the
state of legal reform in Korea at the close of the Kim Dae Jung era, and the
growing legalization of Korean society. The meeting is co-sponsored by the
Korea Economic Institute and the Center for East Asian
Studies.</SPAN></FONT></DIV>
