Dear Fellow List Members,

I have been experimenting with the "Hanjok imnyokki" software for the past few days in my spare time. This little program from the http://www.koreanhistory.or.kr/his_main.htm website is very useful for anyone interested in digitized Hanmun/Old Hangul texts. The website has both the fonts and the software, so please download them both for maximun benefit.

There is a very useful Hanja Dictonary section in the program where you can cut and paste the digitized text to a clipboard and then by highlighting a Hanja entry using the Sound/Code Value button on the Main Menu/Insert Menu, a dictonary entry appears in a seperate pop-up window. The entries are pretty comprehensive too.

Another useful dictionary feature is the Pinyin to Character refrence. Just type in the pinyin spelling and a list of characters appears to choose from.

Have Fun & Regards,
Charles
