The topic for this forum is "Proletarian Literature <BR>

Speaking for the Nation: Rereading Early Chang <BR>

Hyuk-ju. The speaker is Mr. Samuel Perry who is a<BR>

Ph. D. candidate at the University of Chicago's Dept.<BR>

of East Asian Languages and Civilizations. His teaching<BR>

experience includes Head Teaching Assistant in Korean<BR>

Civilization and Teaching Assistant in Japanese <BR>

Civilization. He is currently working on his Ph.D. <BR>

dissertation titled "The Aesthetic of Proletarian Literature<BR>

in Showa Japan and Colonial Korea" as a Korea Foundation<BR>

Fellow. <BR>

The presentation and the forum will be followed by<BR>

dinner, courtesy of Yonsei University, at a restaurant<BR>
