Korean Studies Visiting Lectureship<br><br>

The Department of Asian Studies of the University of Texas at Austin is
seeking a visiting lecturer in Korean Studies for the 2005-06 academic
year (August-May). The lecturer will be expected to offer four
courses (2/2) for lower to upper-division undergraduates, including a
lecture-based Introduction to Korean Culture and History. Other
offerings should be Korea-focused or inter-area. The position will
furthermore carry some administrative responsibilities, principally
related to the Korean studies program. We seek applicants from any
field in the humanities or social sciences, including both PhDs and ABDs
who can demonstrate sufficient teaching preparation.<br><br>
