<P>The Korean Studies Program and the Institute of Modern Korean Studies at the
Graduate School of International Studies, Yonsei University are pleased to
invite you to attend the 46th Yonsei-KF Korean Studies Forum, which will be held
on Tuesday, May 10, 2005 at 6:00 pm at Room 702 of New Millennium
Hall. The speaker is Seungsook Moon, Associate Professor of Sociology at
Vassar College. Her talk "Gendered Trajectories of Citizenship in post-1987
Korea" will examine the differences of their citizenship trajectories
between men and women, arguing that the gender distinction in class alliance is
linked to women's marginalization, regardless of class, in the industrializing
economy in almost all sectors of emplyment. </P>
