It is believed that the development of Korean studies overseas greatly contributes to cultural exchanges between Korea and foreign countries. Therefore, MOE&HRD* has endeavored to systematize and expand its overseas Korean studies support programs. As a part of effort, MOE&HRD transferred ‘Korean Studies Grant’ from KRF to The Academy of Korean Studies(AKS) in 2006. Accordingly, institutions and scholars are now cordially requested to apply for a grant to AKS. The application procedure of grant programs for visiting lectureship, research, academic forums, and journal publication is the same as before. <BR>
