Korean Studies, discipline depending on training and scholarly specialty.
Appointment to this position will be for a term of one year, with a possibility

may be specialists of any of the following areas of Korean Studies: sociology,
film studies, history, literature, politics, and economics, but should be
willing to teach broadly from ancient times to the present and able to develop
an appropriate set of courses at the intermediate and advanced levels. The
incumbent will teach a total of five courses in Korean Studies, including 1) two
introductory courses in Korean society, history, and culture: 2) a thematic
approach to the society and cultures of Korea, and 3) two advanced courses
introducing research methodologies and theory in the discipline of the incumbent
and in Korean and East Asian studies.<o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>
