commemoration of the 1st Kyujanggak Korean Studies International Summer Workshop
offered by the Kyujanggak Institute for Korean Studies (KIKS) of Seoul National
University, a Korean Traditional Dance performance/workshop will be held in the
lobby of the Kyujanggak on Friday, June 29th, 2007.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>This workshop presents a special and delightful opportunity
for appreciating Korean dance. Prof. Young-hae Han, a sociologist teaching at
the Graduate School of International Studies, SNU, and also a very accomplished
dancer in her own right will be offering a performance, and then lead a brief
workshop teaching participants how to enjoy Korean dance, through instruction in
its key terminologies and basic dance moves at the workshop. Hyo-jin Kang, a
Korean fiddler player will be appearing as a guest star.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2></FONT><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>In addition, a special reception with various Korean
traditional teas and cakes will be held at 6:30 PM, before the workshop begin at
