I am Bill's son, David, and I'm writing with the sad news that the AKSE founder member, my father, W.E. [Bill to his friends and colleagues] Skillend died yesterday afternoon, peacefully, in a nursing home close to his family home in Blackheath, South East London.<br>

I saw your email address in a notice you sent my father last week, inviting him to the AGM on 9 March.<br>
Bill's wife, Pat [my mother] has suggested that you might be able to pass on the news of the death of my father to the wider Anglo-Korean world, which would be very helpful. As you can imagine, we have many people we wish to inform, and first and foremost we, his family, are contacting close friends who knew my father personally.<br>
