<DIV><FONT size=4>apparently. This seems a strange lacuna - and a

<DIV><FONT size=4>gap in the market, for anyone minded to write</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=4>(or translate, if there is good stuff in Korean</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=4>that is sufficiently approachable for foreign
readers).</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=4></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=4>When I used to teach, there was Byung-Nak Song's</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=4><EM>Rise of the Korean Economy</EM> (OUP). But I don't
think</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=4>this has been updated in a new edition since
2003,</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=4>nor am I sure if it's even in print currently.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=4></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=4>More recently OUP has published </FONT><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: 'Book Antiqua'; FONT-SIZE: 14pt" lang=EN-GB><FONT size=4>Young-Iob Chung's<o:p></o:p></FONT></SPAN></DIV>
