Ricci's treatise on friendship definitely made it to Korea. In fact, it was being read in Korea a little more than a decade after it appeared in China. Yi Sugwang mentions Ricci's treatise on friendship in his Jibong Yusŏl, which first appeared in 1614. It was mentioned several more times over the next couple of centuries by various Confucian scholars. However, how it reached Korea is not clear. Does anyone know if Ricci’s work on friendship was one of the books imported into Korea in subsequent centuries?
