Dear Frank,
thank you for your help. It seems that Columbia University site has no longer a way to view the dissertation online or in download.
Have you any idea how I can consult it? It seems to be no Italian libraries that own a copy of it.
I'm sorry for my continuous requests, but I find really difficult to find papers on Korean studies (and expecially about this topic) here in Italy. Or maybe it's just academic inexperience, who knows.
By the way, thank you in advance.
Cristiano Parmeggiani

> Date: Thu, 12 Apr 2012 02:32:34 -0700
> To: koreanstudies@koreaweb.ws
> From: hoffmann@koreaweb.ws
> Subject: Re: [KS] English translation of Yongdam Yusa
>
> Dear Cristiano:
>
> There are many partial translations and long quotes of/from the
> Yongdam yusa, but I doubt any full translation exists.
>
> The longest of those partial translations is, I think, to be found in
> George Kallander's 2006 dissertation, Columbia U.: "Finding the
> Heavenly Way ...," in the appendix.
>
> Best,
> Frank
>
>
>
> >Dear list,
> >is anyone of you aware if exists (and in case where I can find it)
> >an English translation of Ch'eondogyo sacred text Yongdam Yusa?
