Letters, Arts and Sciences at the University of Southern California in
Los Angeles, California, invites applications for a tenure-track
Assistant Professor position in Asian Religions for Fall 2013, with a
specialization in either China or Korea. Applicants must demonstrate not
only area-specific expertise but also fluency in religious studies
methodologies and an ability to relate his or her work to the larger
discipline of the cross-cultural study of religions. Applicants should
have a Ph.D. in a relevant field at time of appointment and demonstrated
the promise of excellence in both research and teaching. The applicant
