<span style="color: black; "><font class="Apple-style-span" size="3" face="Calibri">With the support of the Korea Foundation, the Kress Foundation Department of Art History at the University of Kansas is seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Korean
Art History to begin as early as August 18, 2013. <br>
<br>
The successful applicant will teach four courses per year in Korean art history, including undergraduate and graduate courses and periodically a survey of Asian art that includes Korean art; guide graduate student research and supervise dissertations in Korean
art history; maintain an active program of research in Korean art history disseminated through peer-review publications and public presentations; and provide service to the department and the university, including advising, committee work, and contributing
to the growth of Korean studies at the university. <br>

This position will support the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences' signature strength in international and area studies, and affiliation with the Center for East Asian Studies is an option.
