<p><span style="font-size: small;">The Department of East Asian Languages and Cultures at the University of California, Berkeley, has a one-year opening for a lecturer in Korean literature and culture. Appointment will be 67% time depending on instructional needs and budgetary resources, effective July 1, 2013. Minimum annual salary is $45,975. Responsibilities include: teaching Korean 7A: Introduction to Premodern Korean Literature and Culture and another course or other courses; supervising Graduate Student Instructors; compiling teaching materials. Requirements: native or near-native fluency in Korean; good command of English; minimum degree M.A. by date of hire. Prior experience in teaching Korean Studies is highly desirable. </span></p>
