campaigns in South Korea
in 2012. Income inequalities, low employment rates among women, uncertain job
prospects for the youth, raise questions over the role of the large industrial
conglomerates in Korean society, its impact on social and economic relations
and more generally their role in the country's politics. At the same time, the
country appears divided along ideological, regional, and generational lines.</span><span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:Arial;color:black"></span></p>
