International Journal of Korean History<b> </b></i></span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family:"Garamond","serif";font-size:12pt">is an international scholarly journal,
launched with the support of the “Brain Korea 21 Education and Research Group
for Korean History” at Korea University, and published by the Center for Korean
History. The Journal promotes original research and new analyses and
interpretations through articles, book reviews, and translated scholarly works
related to Korean history.<span style>  </span>The IJKH
editors and editorial board are committed to serving its international authors
and readers, and to the development of Korean studies both in and outside of
Korea. </span></p><font face="±¼¸²" size="3">

August 30^th of each year) and accepts paper submissions throughout

should not exceed 8,000 words. <span style> </span>Please
include a 150 word abstract at the beginning of the document.<span style>  </span>The text and footnotes of manuscripts must be
double-spaced and use the Chicago Manual of Style (16th edition). Please use
the McCune-Reischauer system as the primary system to Romanize Korean-language
