<b>15 October, until the afternoon of 17 October 2014</b> at the inaugural conference of the newly established International Institute of Korean Studies UCLAN (IKSU) on the theme of ‘ Korea as the nexus of East Asian peace and security: the policy imperatives,
organised with Professor Kim Yongho, the Director of the Institute of North Korean Studies, Yonsei University and with the support of Lord David Alton, the Chair of the House of Lords all-Party Group on Korea. The conference focuses on the interaction of scholarship,
policy and the media and confirmed speakers are listed below. The keynote speaker is Ambassador Donald Gregg, Chairman of the Pacific Century Institute in Los Angeles, Chairman Emeritus of The Korea Society in New York City, former US Ambassador to South Korea
and former national security advisor to the then Vice President George Bush.</span></div>
