<p style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif;font-size:11pt">The</span><span class="" style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif;font-size:11pt"> </span><i style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif;font-size:11pt">Korea Journal</i><span class="" style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif;font-size:11pt"> </span><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif;font-size:11pt">(ISSN 0023-3900) welcomes submissions
of original research articles, review articles, and book reviews that make new
contributions to the field of Korean studies. Founded in 1916 by the Korean
National Commission for UNESCO, the journal has since been dedicated to the
studies of Korean history, culture, and society, in turn promoting
trans-continental and multidisciplinary dialogues among scholars. It is
included in the resources of the Institute for Scientific Information (ISI):
Arts and Humanities Citation Index (A&HCI); SCOPUS; and Current Contents:
Arts & Humanities under the category of Asian Studies.</span></p>
<p style="text-align:justify"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:11pt;font-family:'Times New Roman',serif"> </span><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif;font-size:11pt">All submitted manuscripts will undergo a double-blinded review by three
specialists in the relevant disciplines. Authors will be notified of the
results of the review within three to four months from the submission date.
Before submitting your manuscripts, please ensure that you carefully read and
adhere to the </span><i style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif;font-size:11pt">Korea Journal Editorial
Policy</i><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif;font-size:11pt"> (with </span><i style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif;font-size:11pt">Korea Journal Research
Ethics Guideline</i><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif;font-size:11pt">)</span><i style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif;font-size:11pt"> </i><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif;font-size:11pt">and </span><i style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif;font-size:11pt">Korea Journal Manuals of Style</i><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif;font-size:11pt">.</span></p>
<p style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif;font-size:11pt">Research manuscripts should range between 6,000 and 8,000 words, footnotes
and references inclusive. A 200-word abstract and 6–8 keywords should also be
included in the submission. We are also inviting review articles between 5,000
and 7,000 words that survey 3–4 books and summarize timely questions and latest
trends in the subfields of Korean studies. Please refer to the list of
publications below for review articles/book reviews. If you would like to
contribute a review article, please send us your CV with a short explanation as
to why the publication(s) is best assigned to you. After a meticulous selection
process, the </span><i style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif;font-size:11pt">Korea Journal </i><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif;font-size:11pt">will mail
you a review-copy of the publications within 10 working days (20 working day if
you are outside South Korea), should you be successfully chosen. Please note
that the review articles will undergo the same peer-review process before being
accepted for publication.</span></p><p style="text-align:justify"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:11pt;font-family:'Times New Roman',serif">For submitting your article or further information
