The Ph.D. must be completed by the time of appointment.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p style='line-height:115%'><span lang=EN-US style='font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif"'>The fellow is expected to participate and contribute to research projects and programs on Modern Korea, most of all in the fields of colonialism, Cold War or migration. The Korean Studies Program is especially interested in candidates whose research can complement and strengthen the existing approach of situating Korean history, society and culture into an East Asian and global context.
