by the Midwest Conference on Asian Affairs under the Association for Asian Studies (</font>ISSN 1554-3749<font color="black" style="box-sizing: border-box;">). The journal, with over a half century-long history, is published twice a year by Eastern Illinois
University. <em style="box-sizing: border-box;">Studies on Asia</em> welcomes manuscripts on any and all aspects of Asia across time and place, including current and historical issues, pedagogy and literature. Submissions of original English-language translations
on and from Asia are welcome as well. Book reviews are also accepted; however, the Book Review Editor should be contacted in advance of submission. </font></span></div>
