<p style="margin: 0px; line-height: normal;"><font face="Calibri">The Department of East Asian Languages and Cultures in the Dana and David Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California, is
seeking a part-time lecturer to assist with the teaching of two courses EALC 344 in the Fall of 2016 (100 students) and EALC 333 in the spring of 2017 (50 students). </font></p>

<p style="margin: 0px; line-height: normal;"><font face="Calibri">“EALC 344 Korean Culture from Ancient to Modern Times" is an upper-division interdisciplinary course that engages students in a wide range of primary sources in Korean intellectual and literary
history presented in class along with artworks and film clips. "EALC 333 Introduction to Korean Film" is a survey of Korean film, the film industry, and critical issues from the colonial period to the present. </font></p>

<p style="margin: 0px; line-height: normal;"><font face="Calibri">Applicants must have a Ph.D in a relevant area of Korean studies by the start of the appointment and have an expertise in Korean intellectual, literary, and/or cultural history in premodern and
