To that end, SEC/AAS has held (since 1962) an annual three-day conference featuring scholarly panels, teacher workshops, and book exhibits. The year 2017 meeting of the SEC/AAS, sponsored by the University of Mississippi, will be held in Oxford, Mississippi, during the weekend of January 13-15, 2017.
