<P>Submission of a paper will be held to imply that it contains original unpublished work and is not being submitted for publication elsewhere; manuscripts under consideration for publication elsewhere are ineligible. This also assumes the fact that the author abides by the Code of Ethical Behavior and is willing to accept liability, if it fails to meet the Code.</P>

<P>Guideline for Manuscript Submission</P>
<P><BR>As the National Research Foundation of Korea's officially registered English journal, The International Journal of Korean Unification Studies (ISSN NO. 1229-6902) is published every six months (June 30/December 31) by the Korea Institute for National Unification (KINU), a government-funded research institution in the Republic of Korea specializing in areas of unification policy, North Korean studies as well as international relations. Since its founding in 1992, the IJKUS has been widely distributed domestically and internationally to research communities concerned with unification, security, and diplomacy on the Korean Peninsula.<BR>All articles published in the journal are subject to peer review by relevant experts in the field before they are accepted for publication. KINU has the copyrights for all the articles published in the International Journal of Korean Unification Studies, and it reserves the right to edit for space. The views expressed in this Journal are those of the individual contributors and do not necessarily represent the views of KINU.</P>
<P><BR>Manuscript Style</P>
<P><BR>The manuscript should use American-English as a standard format and should be double-spaced, footnoted attached with a full list of bibliography quoted throughout the footnotes. The length required for articles should range between 6,000 and 10,000 words in 12-font size, using Microsoft Word only. An abstract of 150 words (with five keywords) plus the same length of contributor s biographical statement should accompany the manuscript.</P>
