international economic relations, or international security relations as well as innovative ideas on North Korea. Topics of particular interest this year include, but are not limited to: the North Korean missile program, North Korean nuclear strategy, the
marketization of the North Korean economy, South Korean soft power, meeting South Korean energy needs, South Korean environmental policy, and South Korean naval strategy and capabilities.

through July will be separately notified of the required submission dates. KEI will also be accepting proposals for papers to be released between September and December 2018 with a proposal deadline of June 15, 2018. Decisions for papers to be released from
