<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0cm 0cm 0.0001pt 18pt;line-height:115%;font-size:12pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-size:11pt;line-height:115%;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">This prize is awarded in commemoration of the late Professor Bill
Skillend to an undergraduate student submitting an outstanding dissertation on
a Korea-related topic. Professor Bill Skillend was a pioneer in the study of
Korean language and literature and responsible for the introduction of its
instruction in Britain. <span></span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent:18pt;line-height:115%;margin:0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;font-size:12pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-size:11pt;line-height:115%;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">In memory of the late Professor Bill Skillend, a sum of up to £200
is available as Prize money.<span></span></span></p>

<p style="margin-left:18pt;line-height:115%;margin-right:0cm;font-size:12pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-size:11pt;line-height:115%;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">The
competition is open to any undergraduate student based at a who would like to present for
consideration a dissertation/Final Project/Independent Study Project equivalent
to 30 CATS/credits on a Korea-related topic. The text should be typewritten,
and not exceed 12,000 words. <span></span></span></p>

<p style="margin-left:18pt;line-height:115%;margin-right:0cm;font-size:12pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-size:11pt;line-height:115%;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">The submitted
work should be no more than 4 months old at the closing date, and must be
