Washington University Institute for Korean Studies (GWIKS) is pleased to
announce the Korean Studies Book Manuscript Workshop for <b>scholars at any stage of their careers working on their monograph</b>. This
workshop is intended to provide support for scholars, regardless of
citizenship, <b>in the social sciences </b>who
are in the middle phase of writing their monograph. GWIKS will select one (1) scholar
on the basis of their potential contribution to Korean Studies.<span></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height:200%;margin:0in 0in 8pt;font-size:12pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Cambria",serif">The participant will attend one half-day workshop and
collaborate with three commentators on the conceptualization and finalization

<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height:200%;margin:0in 0in 8pt;font-size:12pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Cambria",serif">GWIKS will provide roundtrip airfare (economy class),
accommodations, and meals for the duration of the workshop.<span style="background:rgb(248,249,249) none repeat scroll 0% 0%"> Limited funds may be available for participants
traveling from outside the United States.<span></span></span></span></p>

manuscript by Friday, June 19, 2020 in order to ensure enough time for the
