Despite the ever growing diversity of countries, cultures, and academic environments from which our researchers come from, many young researchers often do not have many opportunities to share their findings and receive valuable feedback.</span></p>

Since its founding in 1957, RIKS, a leader in Korean studies, has fulfilled its long-term mission of fostering interactions among young researchers and broadening the research of Korean studies. This year, the fifth RIKS Academy will bring together scholars of philosophy, history, culture, and literature for intensive courses designed to explore Korean studies in its broader regional context. </span></p>
