research pertaining to the overall topic and not previously published.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif;color:black">The publication follows up on the 16th Annual Conference on Asian Studies in Olomouc that revolved around the theme
<i>Bodies, Gender, Identities</i> (see further information on the conference homepage (<u><a href="http://acas.upol.cz">http://acas.upol.cz</a></u>).<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif;color:black">To collect chapters for this volume, the editors first invite
<b>extended abstracts</b>, 700–1,000 words long, in English, to be mailed to<b> <a href="mailto:olas@upol.cz">
olas@upol.cz</a></b> per PDF file. Besides the abstract, this file must contain the title of the suggested paper, five keywords, and information about the author (full name, affiliation, e-mail address). The abstract submission deadline is<b> 14 May 2023</b>.
Decisions will be sent by 18 June 2023.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<b>full papers</b>,<b> </b>developed from the accepted abstracts, is<b> 31 August 2023</b>. The required length is 10–11,000 words (excluding references, tables, etc. from the word count). All manuscripts will undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process.
