<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-fareast-language:KO">The KSAA and the AKS are jointly organising a Korean Studies conference, on 5 and 6 December 2023, at ANU in Canberra, Australia. Catering (lunch/dinner/tea/coffee) for all participants
 is fully funded by the AKS, and with the value of the Australian dollar having dropped a lot against most currencies, the cost of participation will hopefully prove manageable for most.

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-fareast-language:KO">The theme of the conference is “Breakthroughs in Korean Studies after the Pandemic.” Under this theme, we expect to gather various experiences and opinions on how the pandemic has changed
 the research landscape of Korean studies (positively and negatively), what new phenomena have emerged, and how to lead Korean studies into the future through recent years of experience. Since the essence of this theme is “change”, papers that deviate from
 the main theme, but discuss important changes in other realms of activity that are relevant to Korean Studies, now or in the past, are equally welcome.
