<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:11.0pt">The Korean Section of the Department of Asian Studies at Palacký University Olomouc and the Department of Korean Studies at Charles University Prague are accepting proposals for the
<b>6<sup>th</sup> Conference of Young Koreanists</b>, which will be held on <b>February 14, 2025, in Olomouc</b>, Czech Republic.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:11.0pt">The conference targets students of Korean Studies enrolled in MA or PhD programs.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:11.0pt">Submission guidelines:<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:11.0pt">Your abstract, in English, should be no longer than 300 words (main text). It should also include the presentation title, five keywords, and up to five references. The submission should also clearly
state the full name, affiliation, and e-mail address of the presenter. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:11.0pt">Notification of Acceptance is scheduled for December 8, 2024. The submitted abstracts will be reviewed anonymously.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:11.0pt">At the conference, presenters will have 20 minutes for their presentation, followed by 10 minutes for discussion.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:11.0pt">Participants from the Czech Republic will be provided with one night of accommodation (THU/FRI), except for students residing in Olomouc. Participants from outside of the Czech Republic will be
provided with accommodation for two nights (THU/FRI, FRI/SAT), plus up to 200 € for travel expenses, depending on need and available funds. On Friday, lunch and dinner are provided by the host.
