<p><i>In nuce</i>: <br>
Since 2023, the East Asian Studies institutes at Ruhr University
Bochum and University Duisburg-Essen, both located in the Ruhr
region in Germany, are conducting a joint Graduate School (in
GRF diction: Research Training Group) on the topic of East Asian
visions of the future, past and present. We now call for
applications for following<b> four-year positions</b> and
fellowships for <b>doctoral researchers</b>: <br>
- Seven GRF-funded positions (0.75 FTE) <br>
- Six affiliated fellowships with funding opportunities for
field research in East Asia and conference attendances<br>
The deadline for applications is 31 January 2025. Positions will
start on 1 October 2025. <br>
