disputes surrounding the </span>Amnokgang<span style="font-size:12pt"> Forestry Company became Imperial Japan\u2019s
pretext for the Russo-Japanese War (1904-1905); </span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in;font-size:12pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-size:12pt">- how and why North Korean
women\u2014figures like Yi Sinja\u2014were depicted in early 1960s Chinese media as ideal
socialist role models; </span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in;font-size:12pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-size:12pt">- and affective \u2018mobility\u2019 among young Japanese women and
