<p>We would like to introduce a new book from AKS Press that presents a general overview and current debates surrounding the discipline of Korean Studies.</p>
<p>this book seeks to address the fundamental question: "Why Korean Studies now?"</p>
<p>This is the inaugural publication of the 'Re-Born Korea' series, which carefully selects and re-examines prominent papers published in the journals of the Academy of Korean Studies.</p>

<p>In particular, this book is published simultaneously in English and Korean editions, allowing diverse scholars and readers, both domestically and internationally, to access it more conveniently.</p>
