      <p>Dear colleagues,</p>

      <p>Ruhr University Bochum announces a cfa for a fixed-term (3,5

        years) position for a <b>doctoral student</b> wishing to write

        a dissertation on a topic in <b>Chosôn </b>history (including

        intellectual, literary, and art history, or the history of law)

        that is compatible with the general theme of pre-modern <b>constructions

          of truth claims</b> and who is willing to pursue this research

        in the context of a collaborative research group dealing with

        historical forms of truth production and truth enforcement,

        addressing strategies and practices, media and processes of

        \u2018making\u2019 truth.  Employment (65% of a full researcher's

        salary) will start April 15, 2027.</p>
