The Journal of Koreanology (KCI: Korea Citation Index), published by the Institute for Korean Studies, Pusan National University, South Korea, would like to invite articles for our next (80th) volume. The special theme in this time is "Popular Korean Culture and Its Transnational Tendency".
The journal welcomes various topics of K-drama, movies, music, or webtoon (website+cartoon) in relation to the social phenomena of popularity, gender, drawback, policy or impact. The article can be explored in the context of sociology, history, literature, media, popular culture, tourism, economics, international relations, politics, and entertainment.
