Unread post by andrewhowards »

A Safety Data Sheet (previously called a Material Safety Data Sheet) is a detailed information document prepared by the manufacturer or importer of a hazardous chemical. It describes the physical and chemical properties of the product. Sds database contain useful information such as toxicity, flash point, spill and leak procedures, storage recommendations, and exposure controls. Thus, thanks to this important tool, factory workers around the world are able to manage chemicals safely and efficiently.

Making Lewis dot structures (also called Lewis structures or Lewis diagrams) might seem tricky, especially if you're just starting out in chemistry. But these drawings really come in handy for grasping how atoms and molecules bond and where their valence electrons go. How hard they are to draw depends on whether you're doing it for a simple two-atom molecule, a bigger covalent one, or molecules that bond ionically.
