[KS] Korean myth

I would appreciate if someone might help me with the following:

According to the Korean myth, in the year of 2333 B.C., the son of the king of heaven, Hwan-ung, came to earth and married a she-bear. In his book, The Koreans, the author, Russell Warren Howe says, "Hwan-ung alighted on T'ae-back-san, a peak of 9,100 feet, now located in North Korea and called Myo-hyang-san..." I had no idear that T'ae-back-san is also called Myo-hyang-san. My friend says it is wrong-- they are two different mountains. Can someone clarify this?

Thank you in advance.
