For those in the Washington area:

On December 11, 1998, Friday, 7:00-8:00 p.m., Channel 21 on television,
Prof. Young Chan Ro and I will discuss 
the special relevance of life and philosophy of Yulgok Yi I and Tosan An
Ch'angho, respectively, for the self-identity of Korean Americans.  In this
local Korean language program, a particular focus will be to solicit
greater support from the Korean-American community for Korean Studies.
