[KS] a question on a name...

i am doing a comparison of state narratives on nationalism in north 
and south korean high school history books. while reading about 
the March First Movement in the northern textbook (referred to as  
<italic>sam il inmin bonggi</italic>) i came across a person's name and i can not 
figure out who this person was.


the name is Kang Jin-sok. (or, due to poor quality print, t may be 
Kang Jun-sok.) would anyone have a clue as to who this person is 
or was?
