Dear Everyone,

I am writing to inform you of the mailing lists set up by Korean
Studies at Monash University to improve the Korean learning and teaching
environment. As you may know, mailing lists are topic-specific
discussion groups to which you can subscribe by email.

Three mailing lists have been established: one for Korean language
educators; two for Korean learners. A short description of the lists is
given below and a full description will be sent out separately.

* International Forum for Teaching Korean as a Foreign/Second Language
(TKFSL-L)
The aim of this forum is to foster collaboration, cooperation, and
networking among Korean language educators throughout the world. Anyone
who is interested in any aspect of Teaching Korean as a Foreign/Second
Language is invited to participate in discussions.

* LearnKorean Discussion Lists for Learners (LearnKorean1-L &
LearnKorean2-L)
The aim of these lists is to create a better learning environment where
Korean learners have ample opportunities to practice and communicate in
Korean with native Korean speakers and other learners around the world.
Anyone who is interested in learning Korean is invited to join these
discussions.

For further information, please visit the web site:

I hope the above lists will be of use to you and your students.

Kind Regards
